Being a part of The Immortal Bros
takes some time and commitment. This group’s purpose is to
work together using computers to create games. This is
mainly done by using Warcraft III’s World Editor. There are
also other programs used in the process, but do not need to
be listed. If you have a suggestion or complaint about these
rules please contact the organization and they will do what
they can about it. Every member of The Immortal Bros has
agreed to follow these rules Make sure it is read over
completely before agreeing to it. By agreeing to these rules
you are agreeing to all of the items listed below.
1. You must agree to have read
these rules in order to join The Immortal Bros’ group.
2. All members are expected
to respect all of their fellow members, especially the
administrators.
3. Unless there is an
acceptable reason why a member cannot test another member’s
game, that member is expected to help test the game and
comment on it.
4. When commenting on another
member’s work include compliments and suggestions.
Don’t be only negative.
5. When a member makes a game
they are expected to include some form of information about
The Immortal Bros. Just saying the name in the map is
acceptable, but it would be best to give some form of
description of The Immortal Bros (if assistance in writing
this description is needed, contact an administrator).
6. It is allowed to use nearly
any program to make a game (for example a map protector),
just ask an administrator if the program being used is
allowed.
7. All members must stay fairly
active on Warcraft III, The Immortal Bros’ forums, and/or
World Editor. A member’s activity in World Editor will
be seen by the map(s) he or she creates. If there is some
reason a member cannot be active for a certain time period,
then he or she should tell an administrator.
8. The administrators must have
some way to contact you other than Warcraft III. The
forums are probably the best way (through private messages),
but you can also use e-mail.
9. Members of The Immortal Bros’
group are expected to join the clan, but not required.
10. The administrators will
always be working hard to keep the forum and website as good
as they can, but it is up to the members to send them their
maps, suggestions, and compliments. The administrators
will never think badly of a member for contributing to their
work, even if it is a bad suggestion.
11. If a member desires to leave
The Immortal Bros, then he or she must contact the
administration.
12. When there is a private
meeting (usually in a private channel on Warcraft III) and a
member is asked to come to it, he or she is expected to
come, or give at least a 4 hour notice (via e-mail or
private message on the forums) that he or she cannot get to
the meeting.
13. No one in The Immortal Bros
should ask you for your age or gender. If someone ever does,
report them to an administrator. The only exception to this
rule is that the administrator that receives this contract
might ask you, it is not required to tell him or her.
Any information given to an administrator will never be
disclosed to anyone else.
14. All members are recorded by the administrators for the future. It would be mostly appreciated if you tell the administrators all of your Warcraft III accounts. This would be helpful for when we see how long you have been playing or anything else about your Warcraft III past. As said above, that information will never be disclosed to anyone else. If you change the account you use please tell the administrators.
We understand that most people probably won't read through this entire thing and will just scroll down to the Code at the bottom. However, using this method allows us to refer to the rules, for example you might be rude to one of the administrators.. then we can go back and say "Remember in the rules that you said you read, rule #2 said to respect other members." We probably won't do things like that, but at least we will be able to.
